where can I find a used auto part for cheap? I am tryign to sell my 2001 Neon, and I need to find a window regulator for it, but I don't want to spend a lot for it and I don't even know where to look to find it. Where can I look for one? A new assembly pictured on line only had the clear lens cover, but it is the red lens cover that is broken. Can someone recommend a site on which they have had good luck finding parts? Guys, did you notice I live in Texas? Not only is it 40 miles to the closest junkyard, I am probably one of three minivan drivers in the entire county. The junkyards here have muscle cars, pickups, and now SUV's. I'd have to go to Dallas/Ft. Most junk yards stand behind the parts that they sell for a period of time (with the exception of electronic parts - usually no returns on those, but may give you a credit). Dont listen to people who say you should never buy used parts. Its important to recycle auto parts. Buy used, rebuilt or new depending on the amount of money you have to spend. If you are just getting random pieces and going to modify them to fit, then I would take an array of tools, such as a standard and metric socket set, an adjustable wrench, various screw drivers, a good set of pliers, and some wd-40. Some tailgate handles are held in by Torx screws, so a set of them might be handy if you have them."
